1. Definitions:
1.2 Delegates/attendees – Professionals or customers who attend a training course.
1.3 Trainers – Professional experts who deliver Educo Life Sciences courses.
1.4 Certificate – An official document issued by Educo Life Sciences as proof of course attendance and completion.
2. Summary:
2.1 This document outlines Educo Life Sciences Ltd approach to quality and how the organisation provides a consistently high-quality training service.
2.2 This document is reviewed every 6 months.
3. ISO 9001 Quality Management System:
3.1 Educo Life Sciences adopts an ISO 9001 Quality Management System (QMS).
3.2 We are 9001 certified which means we are externally audited on an annual basis to ensure our QMS remains 9001 compliant.
3.3 We conduct management reviews and internal audits to continually monitor and manage quality across our organisation to identify areas of improvements.
3.4 As part of the 9001 certification we plan, do, check and act to continually improve our course deliveries.
4. Accreditation:
4.1 We are a member of the CPD Certification Service and have some courses accredited. We also accredit team training (customised) courses specifically for clients when required.
4.2 We are self-accredited and use a review panel to ensure the quality of our courses, their content and information. Courses are reviewed on an annual basis.
4.3 We have a review panel for each core vertical (Pharmaceuticals, Biotech, Cell & Gene and Medical Devices & IVDs)
5. Certificates:
5.1 On completing each course, all attendees are able to download a certificate of course completion.
5.2 Only those who have attended the course receive a certificate of attendance.
5.3 Each certificate has an individual serial number, delegate’s name and course title.
5.4 Each certificate highlights topics covered in the course and the total duration of the course.
6 Feedback:
6.1 Following every course delivery, we ask all delegates to complete a feedback form to ensure delivery standards are high. We currently receive a 60% to 70% completion of feedback forms.
6.2 We review feedback monthly following each delivery and action any major issues or concerns.
6.3 When actioning issues we would contact the customer to discuss and find an immediate solution.
6.4 When actioning issues, we also contact the trainer to discuss how best to improve the course.
6.5 Criteria for action would be one of the following:
6.5.1 An average course score below 3/5 on the question ‘Overall how would you rate this course?’
6.5.2 Any individual scoring below 3/5 on the question ‘Overall how would you rate this course?’
6.5.3 Any individual answering ‘no’ to the following ‘Would you recommend this course?’ or ‘Would you attend a course again?’
6.6 Another question on our feedback survey asks how we can improve the course. We review these suggestions regularly and implement those we feel are appropriate.
7 Expert Trainer’s:
7.1 The trainers used by Educo Life Sciences Ltd all have a minimum of 15 years industry experience, some much more and are highly regarded within their respective industry.
7.2 Before a trainer joins the Educo Life Sciences faculty and delivers courses on behalf of Educo Life Sciences we conduct the following:
7.2.1 Review the CVs of any new trainer to ensure they have the appropriate experience in their field (pharmaceuticals, biotech, medical devices).
7.2.2 Conduct a minimum of 1 interview with the trainer to discuss their experience in their field and training experience.
7.2.3 Research the trainer to validate their CV and experience.
7.3 Our trainers are also independent consultants which means they are regularly working on the latest products, technologies, regulations and processes.
7.4 Many are involved in working groups and associations, but none have any commitments to organisations which enables them to be impartial and honest.
7.5 They bring this real-world experience and anecdotes to the training, talking practically rather than theoretically.
8 Training Approach & Learning Methodology:
8.1 All courses delivered by Educo Life Sciences follow a detailed agenda or learning programme that is advertised online.
8.2 Each course has key learning objectives and outcomes. These are achieved by a delegate upon course completion.
8.3 Each course is different in nature but we ensure that our courses are interactive in structure with questions and trainer delegate dialogue encouraged throughout.
8.4 We support our trainer’s in continually developing and improving their delivery. Providing ideas suggestions and feedback to enable them to develop their presentation, materials and delivery.
8.5 We look to ensure our courses include a variety of learning resources including well presented slides, case studies, group work, quizzes etc to support learning
9 Training Structure:
9.1 Alongside the standard course (either online or classroom) we also include additional activities that contribute to quality. These include:
9.1.1 Pre-course forms – a simple document we ask to be filled prior to the training to ensure your specific scenarios and questions are covered. This enables our expert trainer to modify and tweak the content to meet every attendees’ objectives.
9.1.2 Reinforcement session – For the longer courses we include a reinforcement session at a later date (usually 3-5 weeks) which facilitates continuous learning. This provides delegates an opportunity to come back with questions, challenges and issues which have arisen after implementing the new training knowledge.
9.2 Live online courses are typically delivered in bitesize session to minimise screen time for delegates and trainers.
9.3 Classroom courses are delivered over 1 to 3 days at venue in London.
9.4 The classroom venue meets all health and safety requirements, and risk assessments are completed.
