What is the Post Learning Implementation Plan (PLIP)?
We strive to deliver continuous learning and believe development occurs when you apply your new skills and knowledge back in the workplace. The PLIP is a simple process that supports you.
Is the Post Learning Implementation Plan (PLIP) compulsory?
No not at all. If you feel you do not want to use it then you do not have to. It is included in the price and is there to support you in your development. We advise you to complete the pre-course form to help us understand your learning requirements and objectives.
What is the reinforcement session?
As part of the Post Learning Implementation Plan (PLIP) and as part of the course price you will be invited to an online reinforcement session delivered 3 to 4 weeks after the training. Here you will be asked to prepare some thoughts to discuss with the trainer. We provide support and guidance to prepare you for the session.
What is the action plan?
As part of the Post Learning Implementation Plan (PLIP) the action plan is completed at the end of the training and provides you with a framework to apply your knowledge back at the workplace. It will also form the basis of discussions during the reinforcement session.
What happens after I register?
You will receive your invoice, followed by a welcome email with full details of your course registration. In the weeks leading up to the course you will recieve further emails with more information such as slides, access to the training portal, calendar invites and more. All emails are sent from [email protected].
How do I access the live content?
Leading up to the course you will be sent a calendar invite with a Zoom link to join the course. To access the live content, click on the Zoom link.
Will I receive the slides?
Yes the slides will be made available to you via email. You will be sent a link to download them a few days before the course starts. they will also be available on the training portal.
When will the recordings be made available?
We aim to have the recordings of each session up on the platform within 48 hours of the session being delivered.
How do I speak to the trainer and other students?
You can interact with the trainer and other students in the live sessions but also the forum, located in the training portal.
When are sessions delivered?
Live sessions are delivered at set dates and times. All scheduling information can be found on the course website.
How long am I enrolled on the training portal?
You have access to the training portal from the day the course starts up to 2 to 5 weeks after the last session. During this time you will have access to all Live and On-Demand materials, including recordings of the live sessions.
What should I do if I have a question for the trainer about the course content?
You should ask them during the live session or in the forum.
What happens after the course?
You will receive multiple follow up emails asking you to complete a feedback form. Once this has been completed you will receive your digital certificate. This will be sent to you via email and sometimes lands in junk/spam.
Will I receive a certificate?
Yes all attendees of a course will receive a digital certificate which you can download as a PDF or share on your LinkedIn with a simple click.

When do I get access to the course and the training platform?
You access to the training platform begins on the day the course starts. You then have access to all the materials and recordings of live sessions for 2 to 5 weeks (depending on the course).
Where are classroom courses held?
All our classroom courses are held at our head office, The London Bioscience Innovation Centre (LBIC). The address is: London BioScience Innovation Centre – Apex, 6 St Pancras Way, London, NW1 0QG.
How long do I have access to the training portal?
You have access for 5 weeks (a month) after the course. You will also access the reinforcement session as part of the PLIP from the training portal (if applicable).
What time do the courses start?
Unless otherwise stated or communicated, all training courses begin at 9.00 am local time and finish at approximately 5.00 pm.
Are refreshments and lunch provided?
Yes we provide refreshments as soon as you arrive and throughout the day (coffee, tea and soft drinks). We also provide lunch. Please let us know of any dietary requirements in good time.
Do you provide accommodation?
No we do no provide accommodation. When you register, we do provide a list of suitable hotels close to the venue.

Do all courses have early bird pricing?
The majority do either saving £400 or 20% when you register early. However, some courses do not follow this discount model. Please check the course page for the pricing and further information.
Do you provide academic discounts?
Yes, if you are from a University we provide 50% off. Please email us at [email protected] so we can send you a discount code to use at the checkout. The 50% is applied to the current price tier for the course. It cannot be used in conjunction with other percentage discount offers.
